Where do foodies like me normally go when in Doha? Below are just some of the food joints I have visited, rated and photographed...

Nando's Cataplana and Beef Espetada

Whether in Al Sadd or City Center, Nando's flame grilled meat basted with Portugese peri peri sauce (espetada) and their cataplana taste so good!

Shish Taouk is best at Turkey Central

Turkey Central is a Turkish, Arabic & Lebanese cuisine. Their lip-smackingly delicious grilled meats & warm pita breads are a constant hit! The resto is located in Al Mirqab Al Jadeed St. Doha. 

Applebee's Sampler Tower & Tuscan Shrimp Salad

I spent my first Christmas Eve here in Applebee's City Center last 2010 while talking to my loved ones in the Philippines. Food here is awesome and they have a very wide menu.

Chili's 

This was my first quiet New Year's Eve, my first in Doha. Had dinner at Chili's:  boneless buffalo chicken & ribeye steak & shrimps with sidings.

My first Turkish Coffee at Cafe de Paris 

I just love having my cup here at Chalet de Cafe at Hyatt Plaza, Muraikh, Doha. Ambiance is great!

This is a typical breakfast plate of CBTL - Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, City Center, Doha. It includes fresh dates, apricots & jam aside from their usual. Best with my fave cappuccino or the ice blended drink ;-)

Trying some donuts at Krispy Kreme, Villagio Mall, Doha

Shanghai Garden - Tucked inside City Center, Doha.  I visit this place, esp their buffet, when I crave for Chinese food.

Roast Duck Soup , Thai Dimsum & Fresh Lemonade = Yum!!   Thai Snack House is an extremely popular joint, almost always jam-packed; located in Al Nasser near Ramada Junction.

Al Tazaj specializes in chicken barbeque, arabic style. They also have kabeer, kofta, fries, arabic bread & tahina. Above is chicken kofta with rice; tahina & catshup were provided.

I enjoyed choosing my meats, seafood, noodles, veggies & seasoning at Attila Mongolian Grill. This was taken at their Villagio Mall branch. They also have a branch in City Center which is nearer my accommodation.

Beijing Express, City Center  - Just right, nothing extraordinary! Chinese style crispy fried chicken & butterflied shrimps with complimentary soup.

Quiznos Sub in Qatar Sports Club - Not a favorite! The sub was served with fresh greens, jalapenos & pickles.

Warm Shawarma at Royal Istanbul - my comfort food :-)

Burgers and delectable crispy shrimps at Fuddruckers in Al Dafna, Doha.

When I miss home, I go to Chowking, Al Sadd branch and order beef wanton noodle, shanghai rolls, chopseuy & halohalo
